Asoma Banda mosque won't be demolished - Ghana Railway Authority

Contrary to media rumours, the Ghana Railway Development Authority has dismissed claims of plans to demolish the Alhaji Asoma Banda Mosque in Accra's Airport Residential area.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, 14 November 2023, the Authority assured the public that there is no such intention.
The release emphasised that the Authority has engaged with the mosque's leadership, assuring them of no demolition plans.
Additionally, they provided an accrued ground rent invoice, urging the public to disregard any misinformation and emphasising the mosque's preservation.
