BOST MD pays courtesy call on Ga Mantse to seek blessings and strengthen collaboration

The newly appointed Managing Director(MD) of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, has paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, at the Ga Mantse Palace in Accra.
The visit was aimed at seeking the King’s blessings and exploring avenues for collaboration between BOST and the Ga State, particularly in promoting community development, youth empowerment, and sustainable industrial partnerships within the Greater Accra Region.
During the meeting, Mr. Awoonor expressed deep appreciation for the Ga Mantse’s leadership and reaffirmed BOST’s commitment to conducting its operations in a manner that reflects respect for traditional authority and corporate social responsibility.
“As a national strategic institution, BOST recognises the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with traditional leaders. We are here to seek His Majesty’s blessings and to assure him of our readiness to support community development within the Ga State,” Mr. Awoonor stated.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II congratulated Mr. Awoonor on his appointment and urged him to pursue transparency, efficiency, and innovation in the management of BOST.
The Ga Mantse also encouraged stronger partnerships between State-Owned Enterprises and traditional authorities to promote inclusive economic growth.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing optimism about future engagements that would align with national development goals and the government’s broader energy transition and industrialisation agenda.
