                                Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, the Member of Parliament for the Ada Constituency in the Greater Accra Region and Minority Chief Whip for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has offered an advice to prospective first ladies, to adopt the modest lifestyle of the late former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor.
During her contribution to a parliamentary statement commemorating the late Theresa Kufuor, Cudjoe-Ghansah praised the former First Lady for her restrained use of makeup in public appearances during her husband's presidency, which lasted from 2001 to 2009.
The MP encouraged prospective first ladies to draw inspiration from Theresa Kufuor's simplicity and avoid spending huge sums of money on make-up.
She emphasised that the late statewoman was not known for unnecessary arguments or controversies in the public domain.
Madam Cudjoe-Ghansah particularly commended Theresa Kufuor for her positive reputation, stating that she never engaged in actions that would harm her fellow women despite wielding considerable influence.
The MP also noted that Theresa Kufuor refrained from interfering in the governance affairs of her husband.
In concluding her statement, Cudjoe-Ghansah urged young women to learn from the exemplary life of the late Theresa Kufuor, emphasising her unblemished public image and commitment to a modest and dignified lifestyle
