Benyiwa-Doe was a good friend – Akufo-Addo mourns

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described the late Ama Benyiwa-Doe as his good friend in a tribute as he mourned the former Central Regional Minister.
Ama Benyiwa-Doe passed away on Sunday, 19 September 2021 at Tema.
She was 73 years old.
The staunch NDC member battled ailments in her dying embers.
She first became an MP for Gomoa West Constituency in the Central Region after the 1992 election.
“I’m sad to hear about the news of the death of Ama Benyiwa Doe. She was a colleague in Parliament and a good friend. May her soul rest in perfect peace until the Last Day of the Resurrection when we shall all meet again. Amen!!” Nana Akufo-Addo posted on Facebook in her memory.
