Dagomba chief charges Ejura c'ttee to ensure peace
The Dagomba Chief of Ejura, Alhaji Omar Husein, has entreated the Ejura committee not to disgrace the President who commissioned them to investigate the Ejura shooting incident.
He also urged them not to disgrace themselves in their inquiry.
This was said by the linguist of Dagomba Chief of Ejura, Abdul Wahab Alhassan when he appeared before the committee to testify on the Chief's behalf on Monday, 12 July 2021.
He also urged them to do their best to bring peace to Ejura and the nation as well.
“Do not disgrace the President. Do not disgrace the country and do not disgrace yourselves.
“Whatever you will do to bring peace to the country Ghana, Ashanti region and Ejura for that matter you have the mandate. I was there when the Dagomba chief told you this. I'm only repeating,” the linguist said.
A member of the committee, therefore, assured the chief that they will discharge their duties duly.
One of the persons who were shot dead during the protest in Ejura few weeks ago, Muntala Mohammed is a grandson of the Dagomba Chief.
