Defamation: Multimedia to drag Kennedy Agyapong to court
The Multimedia Group says it is dragging Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong to court for what it describes as defamatory statements the lawmaker made against the media house and its CEO Mr Kwasi Twum.
The media conglomerate will also sue two online portals for publishing the defamatory story.
Mr Agyapong, according to a statement issued by The Multimedia Group on July 2nd, 9th and 19th, made and repeated defamatory statements about the media group on his media platform.
The broadcast and publication, according to the statement, sought to portray the plaintiffs as unethical, unprofessional and criminal.
