Duker leads Ghana delegation to Kimberly Process meeting at Victoria Falls

Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, responsible for mining, George Mireku Duker, on Monday, 22nd May, 2023, led a delegation from the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to represent Ghana at the ongoing Kimberly Process meeting at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The Deputy Minister, on behalf of the Sector Minister, Samuel A. Jinapor, made a case on how the Kimberly Process is assisting member countries in streamlining Diamond trade in their respective countries.
He also indulged fellow member countries in the meeting to adapt a traceability framework to assist achieve the ultimate objective of the Kimberly Process.
Following the agenda adopted for the four-day meeting, he expressed optimism that the Kimberly Process will be more robust and efficient than ever in the coming days.
