E/R: Technical challenge emanating from GRIDCO causing dumsor in Koforidua, Suhum other areas
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed the power outage being experienced in parts of the Eastern Region, to a technical challenge emanating from the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).
The ECG revealed this in a public notice dated Thursday, 21 March 2024.
According to the ECG, affected areas include: “Koforidua township, Okorase, Osabene, Mile 50, Akim Tafo township, Bunso, Osiem, Hemang, Begoro, Asesewa, Kibi, Asiakwa, Apedwa, Suhum township, Teacher Mante, Amanase, Akote, Amanhyia, Nankesi towns and nearby communities.”
