ECG staff to visit customers to carry out MBH metering system update
The MBH Metering system is being updated, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced.
Hence, staff of the ECG are visiting MBH customers to enter token ID numbers to update the meters.
Customers can however call the ECG call centre on 0302 611611, visit the ECG offices or their nearest 3rd party vendors for the update and purchase of electricity.
ECG districts with some MBH metering customers include: “Afienya, korle-bu, Bortiano, Ablekuma, Nsawam, Koforidua, and Kibi.”
A public announcement by the power-distributing company urged customers to note that: “You cannot purchase electricity through the ECG mobile app unless your assigned MBH meter has been updated.”
