Europrima donates to Rebecca Foundation
Europrima Industries Limited producers of SoKlin, Boom and Santex, has donated about 850 cartons of powdered washing soap, liquid detergent, dishwashing soap, hand washing soap, and sanitizers to the Rebecca Foundation, in support of the Foundation’s initiatives.
According to the Director and Head of Human Resource of Europrima Industries Limited, Mabel Senanu, the move is part of the social responsibility activities by the company to support the needy in the country.
"We are very happy to do this donation and we hope the Foundation will distribute to hospitals, institutions and orphanages supported by The Rebecca Foundation", she said.
Madam Senanu also disclosed that the donation was to honour the memory of their Founder and matriarch, who had a heart for the underprivileged.
“We are also using this opportunity to honour the memory of our dearly departed matriarch the late Madam Gifty Esinam Champion who was an avid advocate of initiatives and causes geared towards the betterment of women and children, such as all the great work that The Rebecca Foundation does", she added.
Mrs Akosua Newman of the Rebecca Foundation who received the items thanked the donors for their gesture.
“We are indeed grateful for this kind gesture to the Foundation and I assure you that the items will be used to support the needy in our communities as we always do", she said.
