The home of DSP Issahaku Yakubu, the former Vice President’s Aide, was violently raided yesterday by individuals who identified themselves as National Security operatives.

The operatives reportedly ransacked the rooms, scattering personal belongings and causing considerable destruction.

Even the contents of a mini mosque within the house were not spared from the chaos.

This has raised serious concerns about the nature of the raid and whether it was executed with proper legal or ethical justification.

The operatives removed the hard drives of the CCTV cameras from the premises.

This has sparked additional questions about the reasons for the raid and whether the footage was targeted to hide any evidence of the raid itself.

The individuals involved in the raid were reportedly wearing no visible identification and did not provide any explanation for their actions at the time.

Some observers believe the actions may have been politically motivated, given DSP Yakubu’s past association with the former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
