Global Peace appoints late Quashigah's daughter as Special Secretary, Office of the Coordinator-General
Global Peace has appointed Ms. Angela Aseye Quashigah as Special Secretary to the Office of the Coordinator-General.
She is the first daughter of the late Courage E. K. Quashigah, a retired Major of the Ghana Armed Forces who later served as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Health in the John Agyekum Kufuor Administration in Ghana.
Her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Esi Quashigah, who also passed away in November 2023, was the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme.
Angela Aseye Quashigah is a distinguished alumna of Global Peace and is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship Option) at the University of Ghana Business School, Legon, Accra, Ghana.
She completed her secondary school education at Keta Secondary School in the Volta Region of Ghana in 2002 and later furthered her tertiary education at the University of East London (United Kingdom), Docklands Campus, in 2005.
Angela Aseye Quashigah completed her degree in Media and Combined Studies in 2007.
She has been an Executive Member of the Parent Teacher Association of North Hills International School since 2022 and is also a committee member of the American International School - Ghana branch.
In these roles, she works alongside other members to help these schools achieve educational goals for the rapidly growing generation, supporting children in their development and improving their learning outcomes.
Angela is a businesswoman and a proud mother of four boys.
She once served as the Marketing Manager of Ambar Quality Foods Limited.
She states that her core values and aim are to “avail myself to be of great impact to people and society at large.”
Angela is also the Director of Programmes at Global Africa Development Corporation, an international civil society organisation, and works as a media professional and development consultant.
A statement from the Office of the Global Coordinator-General, Global Peace, ACCORD, Durban, South Africa, welcomed Angela Aseye Quashigah to the Global Peace Team and wished her well in her new appointment.
