IGP congratulates Yohonu on his promotion to Dep. IGP

The Inspector-General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has congratulated Christian Tetteh Yohonu on his promotion to the rank of deputy Inspector-General of Police by President Akufo-Addo.
The IGP in a message shared on the facebook wall of the Ghana Police Service said “We wish you all the best as we continue to work together with our colleagues in the pursuit of peace, security, law and order in our beloved country”.
He also extended the warm wishes of the entire Police service to the newly promoted deputy IGP.
President Akufo-Addo in a statement on Wednesday July 17, 2024 announced the promotion of Mr Yohonu to deputy IGP following a police council meeting where his work over the years was acknowledged.
