Kofi Boakye turns 60, takes a bow from Police service

The Head of the Ghana Police Service’s (GPS) Legal and Prosecution Division, Commissioner of Police (COP) Nathan Kofi Boakye, has marked his 60th birth anniversary today, Wednesday,5 April 2023.
The COP, therefore, retires after 30 years in the police service.
A ceremony was organised by the GPS to bid COP Boakye farewell.
COP Boakye will be remembered for leading officers of the service from the Greater Accra region to arrest Atta Ayi, a notorious armed robber as well as some members of his gang.
As the Police Chief of the Ashanti region, COP Boakye’s administration was able to hunt down wanted criminals within the Kumasi Metropolis and its environs.
Former Local Government Minister Maxwell Kofi Jumah, music artistes Shatta Wale and Kwaw Kese were all arrested under him.
