MP supports examiners with packed meals to foster serene examination environment

The Ho Central Member of Parliament and Member of the Education Committee of the 9th Parliament, Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, in a commendable show of commitment to educational excellence and the creation of a conducive environment for the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) exercise, has provided packed food for all supervisors and invigilators across the constituency.
The gesture was aimed at appreciating the dedication and hard work of the examination personnel while ensuring they remained energised and focused throughout the exercise.
According to the MP and a former Human Resource Manager of the Ghana Education Service (GES), creating a calm and supportive environment during exams not only boosted the morale of staff but also contributed to better performance by students.
“Examinations are a critical part of academic life, and those who ensure they run smoothly deserve our utmost support,” he noted, during a brief interaction at one of the examination centers.
“This is a small but meaningful way of saying ‘thank you’ for the vital role our supervisors and invigilators play in shaping the future of our young people.”
Supervisors and invigilators who received the meals expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, noting it boosted their morale and eased the day’s stress. Many commended the MP’s consistent support for the educational sector and called for other leaders to emulate such initiatives.
The initiative was one of several educational support programmes undertaken by the MP, reflecting a broader agenda to uplift education standards and support the stakeholders who made it possible.
