NE/R: Violent clash over farmland destroys Nalori Community in Chereponi

A severe conflict erupted between the Ando and Nalori communities in the Chereponi district of the Northeast Region on Sunday afternoon, leading to the complete destruction of the Nalori community.
The dispute, sparked by a piece of farmland, escalated, resulting in the burning down of the entire Nalori community, leaving its residents homeless.
Despite the extensive damage, there have been no reported fatalities.
However, one individual sustained injuries from gunshot wounds during the clash.
In connection with the incident, one person has been arrested.
