NPP's Richard Ahiagbah critically injured in crash on K’si road

Richard Ahiagbah, the National Communications Director for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), is fighting for his life after a serious car accident on the Kumasi-Accra highway.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 27 July 2024, near Aduapompo.
According to preliminary reports, Mr. Ahiagbah was alone in his vehicle when it collided with an articulated truck.
Eyewitnesses suggest that driver fatigue may have played a role in the crash.
Emergency responders swiftly transported Mr. Ahiagbah to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, where he is currently under intensive medical care.
Doctors have described his condition as critical.
Investigations have since begun to uncover the details surrounding the accident and establish the exact cause of the collision.
