Owusu-Bio inspects housing unit for Police & new DVLA office complex

The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, responsible for Lands and Forestry, Benito Owusu-Bio on Tuesday, 21st March, 2023 led a delegation from the Ghana Police Service and the Lands Ministry to take a final inspection of the ongoing construction of the 504 housing units being built for the Ghana Police Service.

Speaking to the Technical Director for Lands at the Ministry, Mr. Maxwell Adu-Nsarfoa revealed that during their last visit, the Police made some recommendations on the buildings which contractors had to amend.

He said their visit, therefore, was to ensure that recommendations made by the police during their last visit has been implemented and all set for the buildings to be handed over to the rightful users.

The Deputy Minister also made a whistle stop at the New DVLA office complex ongoing in the same vicinity to inspect the stage of the construction.

His visit also serves as a preliminary handing over preparations and site tour ahead of the official handing over of the police apartments under construction at Kwabenya (Atomic) a suburb of Accra.
