SEHP hosts award-winning Nigerian writer Chigozie Obioma

The Samira Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects (SEHP) has hosted multiple award-winning writer Chigozie Obioma from Nigeria.
The SEHP hosted the award-winning writer at a writers' seminar held at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) conference hall, University of Ghana, Legon.
The seminar was held on the theme: “Breaking through the Global Literature Space; A Conversation On The Art And Business Of The Writing Craft.”
It formed part of activities under the Samira Bawumia Literature Prize.
The Samira Bawumia Literature Prize is a writing contest which began under the SEHP in 2020 geared toward creating and supporting a nurturing environment for young writers across Ghana.
The Nigerian writer is known for writing the novels: The Fishermen and An Orchestra of Minorities.
Both novels were shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
