Togbe Afede XIV destoools Ho Bankoe Mankrado over misconduct and insubordination

The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, has officially destooled the Mankrado of Ho Bankoe and Afetorfia of the Muviefe Clan, Togbe Afiatsoa III, with immediate effect, citing multiple instances of misconduct and gross insubordination.
The destoolment was announced during a formal ceremony held at the Asogli State Palace, where Togbe Adubobi IV, Afetorfia of Ho Bankoe and representative of Togbe Afede XIV, conveyed the decision to the public.
According to Togbe Adubobi IV, Togbe Afiatsoa III—known in private life as Mr. Fred Yao Akordor—has consistently made statements and engaged in actions that have sought to divide the Ho Bankoe community and undermine the unity of the Asogli State Council.
"As of today, Mr. Fred Yao Akordor has been removed from all chieftaincy-related activities and programmes within the Ho Traditional Area and the Asogli State Council.
He no longer holds any title as a chief and must be addressed only by his private name," Togbe Adubobi IV stated.
He further warned media outlets and the general public not to recognise or engage Mr. Akordor in any capacity as a chief, emphasising that his actions had violated the customs and traditions that govern the chieftaincy institution in the Asogli State.
