Akufo-Addo inaugurates Adansi North District Hospital

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially inaugurated the Adansi North District Hospital in the Ashanti Region.
At the commissioning ceremony, President Akufo-Addo highlighted the hospital's completion as a significant milestone in the nationwide effort to establish and complete state-of-the-art health facilities.
“The completion of the Adansi North District Hospital is a testament to our dedication to providing state-of-the-art health facilities in line with current healthcare standards across the nation,” stated President Akufo-Addo.
The President also noted that similar hospital projects have been successfully completed in Kumawu, Fomena, and Takoradi, contributing to a broader agenda aimed at improving healthcare infrastructure across Ghana.
Additionally, President Akufo-Addo outlined ongoing projects, including the construction of five health facilities in the Western Region, the upgrade of a facility in the Western North, and the Ashanti Regional Hospital at Sewia.
He assured the public that by the end of the year, the government would complete several significant projects, including a urology and neurology center of excellence at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, the construction of 11 district hospitals, and one polyclinic in the Ashanti, Eastern, Greater Accra, and Ahafo regions.
“These efforts align with our commitments to achieving universal health coverage and guarantee improved and more efficient healthcare for all Ghanaians,” President Akufo-Addo added.
