Ghana Goldbod, a leading corporate entity, has donated GHS 2 million to the MahamaCares initiative to support healthcare delivery and tackle the growing burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the country.

The donation was made by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, together with his Deputy CEO, Mr. Richard Nunekpeku.

According to the company, the contribution underscores its commitment to improving health outcomes and strengthening social impact through corporate responsibility.

The MahamaCares programme focuses on enhancing access to quality healthcare services, with particular attention to the prevention and treatment of NCDs such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, which continue to pose major public health challenges in Ghana.

Officials expressed confidence that the funds will go a long way in supporting interventions aimed at reducing the disease burden and improving the well-being of citizens.
