Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases almost hitting 1,000

The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 116 new COVID-19 cases.
This brings the country’s active case count to 973.
It was 947 a couple days ago.
So far, Ghana has recorded a total of 48,904 cases nationwide, sine the virus first entered the country in mid-March.
Out of that number, 47,611 have recovered.
The death toll has remained 320 for about a week.
