Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases drop to near-1,000 mark

The number of Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases is now 1,092, according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service.
Of that number, five and 12 are in critical and severe condition, respectively.
Some 40 new cases were recently recorded.
The death toll is 789.
Since mid-March 2020, Ghana has recorded a total of 94,369 cases with 92,488 recoveries.
