The H4P (Here for Perfection) Organization has once again extended a helping hand to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) by organizing its “Celebration of Love” event at the Cape Coast School for the Blind and Deaf in the Central Region

The event, which centred on love and support for the disability community, included a free medical outreach, donations to the school, awards for dedicated staff, and the distribution of gifts to students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.

Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, CEO of H4P Organization, expressed deep gratitude to the dignitaries, medical team, H4P team, and various sponsors for their support in making the day memorable.

He underscored the importance of educating children with disabilities, emphasizing that given the right opportunities, they can rise to remarkable heights, even becoming leaders of the nation.

He also pledged that H4P would continue to support PWDs through ongoing initiatives.

The event featured a comprehensive free medical screening for over 500 students, staff, and caregivers.

The medical team, comprising personnel from various health institutions, conducted general health check-ups, ENT assessments, dental screening and cleaning, and eye examinations, ensuring that the community had access to essential health services.

As part of the programme, Bishop Dr. Hackman presented “Bishop’s Special Awards” to three outstanding staff members in recognition of their dedication: Mr. Yusif Ibrahim, a security officer; Mr. Nixon Okyere, a senior house master with over 15 years of service; and Madam Lydia Asante, the Assistant Head in charge of academics, who has served the school for over 20 years.

Each recipient received cash and assorted gift items.

The event, also a prelude to the holiday season, brought joy to the school community as gifts were distributed to all attendees, including teachers, caregivers, and students.

H4P donated assorted medications to the school clinic and provided furniture for the Head Master’s office, leaving a lasting impact on the school’s resources.

Cape Coast School for the Blind and Deaf Head Master, Mr. Abraham Annang Yemoson, expressed heartfelt appreciation, noting that it was the first donation and health screening exercise the school had received in over 20 years.

He praised H4P’s commitment to “bringing dignity to disability.”

Special guests, including Nana George Frimpong, former GFD Central Region President, shared his admiration for H4P’s commitment to the disability community, commending Bishop Dr. Hackman for his unwavering support.

Other distinguished attendees included regional and municipal representatives from social services, welfare, and education, all united in support of PWDs.

The "Celebration of Love" is held in honour of Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, the late mother of H4P’s CEO, who dedicated her life to advocating for PWDs.

Her compassion and belief in the worth and potential of every individual continue to inspire H4P’s work, bringing dignity and hope to countless people in the disability community.
