Ho FM launches 2025 health walk, urges a healthy lifestyle
Ho 92.5 FM has launched its 2025 health walk with a call for a healthy lifestyle.
Known as Ho Walk, the event is an annual programme that attracts a diverse range of participants, including individuals, families, and fitness enthusiasts.
The event provides a unique platform for people from all walks of life to come together, engage in physical activity, and promote the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. Additionally, it serves as an excellent networking opportunity, bringing individuals and corporate entities together in a fun and energetic environment.
The dynamic event is aimed at raising awareness about healthy lifestyles through physical and mental exercises.
The five-hour launch was consisted different musical performances, with many people attending.

Among the local dances performed were Agbadza performed by Agbetsi Vudo cultural group, Kpalogo by Deme Youth Alive and Borborbor by Asogli Unity and Love.
Addressing the gathering, the General Manager of Ho FM Togbe Ahorgo I said the health walk not only encouraged physical activity but also aimed at improving a healthy society to reduce stroke, diabetes, connect people, and foster unity, among others.
According to him, for the past years, the station had positioned itself as an informative and educational station transforming lives through various activities, hence the need for all to come onboard for an accelerated development and unity to create opportunities for all.

On his part, the Chairman of the occasion, Togbe Adu Bobi IV Afetorfia of Ho Bankoe Bake clan, noted that Ho FM had been the best station since its inception in the region and was changing the media landscape through innovations and initiatives, ensuring they served everyone.
"There is no other radio station in the Volta region especially Ho that is performing and innovative than Ho FM. Even if there is any to be innovative, by the time they start, Ho FM has moved to another level," he said.
"Through the initiatives of Ho FM, we have been to Duagbe International Tour which enabled some people to forcefully learn how to speak French, we also went to Dodi Princes, and all these are initiatives that are live transforming."
Togbe Adu Bobi IV used the occasion to appeal to all Ghanaians to prioritise their health and ensure they embraced the initiatives of Ho FM for healthy living.
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch, Dr Joshua Amegbletor, a surgeon at Ho Teaching Hospital, urged all Ghanaians to prioritise regular physical activity, such as walking and exercise, because it is one of the most effective ways to prevent chronic diseases, manage existing health conditions, and improve overall physical and mental well-being.
He added that management members of various institutions must ensure they exercised regularly to avoid future breakdown.
He noted that exercise and health walks significantly lowered the risk of developing conditions such as type 2 diabetes and various cancers.

Some of the people who witnessed the launching of the 6th edition of Ho Walk expressed their gratitude to the management of Ho FM for their initiatives and innovation, urging them to sustain and added more in the coming years. They pledged their support and commitment to ensuring that Ho FM achieved their intended goals.
The 2025 Ho Walk will come off on December 20, featuring invigorating aerobic exercises and fitness games, among other activities, as the Class Media Group (CMG) subsidiary continues to inspire and champion a healthy lifestyle, diversity, unity, and inclusion.
