MP donates to support health delivery
The Member of Parliament for the Mpraeso Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr Davies Ansah Opoku, has donated four motorbikes, two laptops and a printer to the health directorate in the Constituency to support health delivery.
The motorbikes will go to Ntomem, Kwahu Amanfrom (New Jerusalem), Osubeng and Sukwa CHPS Compounds, he said.
The MP, who is the Deputy Ranking Member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament and also a member of the Works & Housing Committee explained that the laptops and laser-jet printer will aid the directorate’s data gathering process in the Mpraeso South municipality.
According to Mr Opoku, there is the need to improve the quality of life for the people in the constituency through community-focused care that enhances healthcare services.
He was hopeful the gesture will improve access to preventive health care services, and further engage the indigenes in care decisions, as well as lower the cost of health care.
