#2024Polls: Collation centres in 9 constituencies besieged by party supporters, results not received – EC

The Electoral Commission (EC) has said it has not received results from 9 constituencies out of 276.
The EC Chair Jean Mensa explained this was because political party supporters had beseiged some collation centres "making it impossible to complete the collation process".
They are Awutu Senya East, Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Akwatia, Suhum, Techieman South, Dome-Kwabenya, Ablekuma North, Ahafo Ano North and Damongo.
Total registered voters from these 9 constituencies, she said were 947,116.
Madam Mensa spoke at the national collation centre of the Electoral Commission Ghana office in Accra, December 9, 2024.
Ghana went to the polls on December 7.
