#2024Polls: Processing time per voter was less than 3 minutes – EC
According to the Electoral Commission, “processing time was reduced drastically” as Ghana went to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
“In fact, it was less than 3 minutes for a voter to be processed,” the EC added.
Though media reports hinted at apathy at the polls, the Jean Mensa-led commission said per “reports reaching us” voter turnout “has been very massive”.
The election management body spoke on Saturday night in their fourth media update posted on Facebook.
