Alan storms Ashanti Region today to kick-start campaign
One of the aspiring flagbearers on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, after organising an inter-denominational thanksgiving ceremony at the Accra International Conference Centre has left for the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, to kick start his campaign to annex the flagbearer slot of the party.
The campaign tour of the resigned Trade Minister dubbed 'Homecoming’ will take him to the Manhyia Palace to call on the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
Mr Kyerematen is expected to meet with the delegates in the region to sell his ideas to them as part of his campaign.
Reports say supporters of the Mr Kyerematen are massing at vantage points in the Kumasi metropolis awaiting his arrival in the region.
