All NPP’s ill decisions still binding on Alan Kyerematen – NDC communicator

The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a stern reminder to Mr Alan Kyerematen, the embattled flagbearer hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), who has resigned to run as an independent candidate in the 2024 general elections.
The NDC emphasised that Mr Kyerematen cannot distance himself from the decisions made by his former party.
Mr Alexander Akuako, a member of the NDC's communications team, delivered this message while participating in a discussion on the Ghana Yensom morning show, hosted by Odehyeeba Kofi Essuman on Accra 100.5 FM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
Mr Akuako stated that Mr Kyerematen's resignation does not absolve him of the consequences of the NPP's decisions, as those decisions continue to affect him.
Mr Akuako acknowledged that Mr Kyerematen's decision to resign and run as an independent presidential candidate is a unique phenomenon, as he is not forming a new political party like others who have broken away from their respective parties.
He urged political observers to closely examine this novel development and provide a comprehensive analysis of the situation within the NPP.
Furthermore, Mr Akuako cautioned the NDC against taking joy in the challenges facing the NPP, emphasising the importance of responsible political engagement and a focus on issues affecting the nation
