Ambassador Ankrah launches beach breeze campaign for Mahama
In a captivating and innovative campaign initiative, former Ghana’s ambassador to South Africa, Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah on Saturday, May 19, 2024, launched the John Mahama Beach Breeze Campaign at Labadi Beach in the Greater Accra Region.
The event, which took place from 12 noon to 6 pm, marks a significant step in the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) effort to connect with the masses and disseminate the party’s message, particularly to the youth.
The campaign dubbed #JMBeachBreezeCampaign, is an initiative aim at bringing the NDC's message directly to the people through engaging and interactive means. Mr Ankrah said to the media.
As part campaign the party’s paraphernalia was prominently displayed, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere at the beach.
Team members employed a one-on-one approach, engaging beachgoers in personal conversations to discuss the party's vision and objectives.
According to Mr Ankrah, the campaign drive at Labadi Beach represents a fresh and dynamic method of political outreach, emphasizing direct interaction and grassroots engagement.
Ambassador Ankrah's initiative highlights the NDC's commitment to innovative campaigning strategies and reaching voters in unique settings.
The event drew a considerable crowd, with beachgoers enthusiastically participating and engaging with the campaign team.
This ground-breaking approach to campaign in the run-up to the December 7, poll is expected to set a new standard for political campaigns in the region, showcasing the NDC's dedication to connecting with constituents on a personal level
