Bawumia pauses campaign tour to finalise NPP 2024 manifesto

The Flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will temporarily halt his ongoing ‘Possibilities Tour’ to focus on finalising the party's 2024 manifesto.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Bawumia Campaign Team, signed by its Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, on Tuesday, 13 August 2024.
“The leader of the New Patriotic Party will, together with the team, spend the next few days preparing and finalising the NPP 2024 Manifesto, which is scheduled to be launched on Sunday, August 18, 2024,” the statement said.
Dr. Bawumia's tour, which has been focused on engaging with constituents across the country, will resume immediately after the manifesto launch.
The ‘Possibilities Tour’ has been a platform for Dr. Bawumia to connect with Ghanaians and discuss the NPP’s vision for the future.
The Campaign team of the NPP flagbearer described the pause in the tour as a necessary step to ensure that the NPP’s 2024 manifesto is comprehensive and addresses the key concerns of the electorate.
The team also called on Ghanaians to remain engaged and supportive as Dr. Bawumia continues his campaign efforts.
“We urge all Ghanaians to stay with Dr. Bawumia on this exciting journey of unveiling bold solutions for the next chapter of Ghana’s development, which is going to be heavily focused on jobs and businesses. IT IS POSSIBLE!” the statement added.
