Dr. Bryan Acheampong has successfully concluded a nationwide tour of all 276 constituencies across the country, a feat described by party insiders as one of the most extensive grassroots engagements in the history of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The tour, which ended on January 10, 2026, focused on strengthening unity within the party and reinforcing the role of grassroots supporters as the backbone of the NPP’s rebuilding and electoral strategy ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Throughout the exercise, Dr. Acheampong engaged party delegates, Assembly Members, and community leaders, expressing appreciation for their support and assuring them of his commitment to empowerment at the base of the party.

He pledged to work closely with grassroots members to ensure their concerns and ideas remain central to the party’s renewal efforts.

A notable highlight of the tour was his visit to the Bawku zone, an area often regarded as one of the most challenging political and security environments in the country.

Dr. Acheampong is reported to be the only candidate to have toured the zone during the current political season, a move supporters say reflects his resolve to leave no constituency behind.

Speaking at the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Acheampong said the engagement had reaffirmed his belief in the importance of the grassroots to the party’s success.

“This journey has shown me once again that our party’s heartbeat is at the grassroots. I am grateful for the warmth, the trust, and the faith shown to me across the country.

Together, we will build a stronger NPP and a stronger Ghana,” he said.

Observers say the nationwide tour has helped consolidate Dr. Acheampong’s presence across the party’s structures and positioned him as a unifying figure with strong grassroots appeal.

His decision to engage all constituencies, party members note, underscores his message that leadership is rooted in service and inclusiveness.
