Dec 7 polls: GCPP commends NDC for paying attention to EC's details

Citizen Ato Dadzie, General Secretary of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), has praised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Elections Directorate for its meticulous attention to detail on the workings of the Electoral Commission ahead of the December 7 polls.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ghana Yensom morning show, hosted by Otafrigya Kayire Kwesi Apea-Apreku on October 28, Mr Dadzie highlighted the NDC’s commitment to electoral oversight and transparency, singling out Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, head of the NDC’s Elections Directorate and IT, for his commendable leadership.
Mr Dadzie noted that the NDC's diligence in addressing key issues raised by the Electoral Commission (EC) has been essential to ensuring that critical details in the election management process are not overlooked.
He emphasized that without the NDC's vigilance, many of the EC's actions might have gone unnoticed by the public.
According to Mr Dadzie, the NDC's active role in recent days has contributed significantly to enhancing transparency in the EC's management of the upcoming elections.
Referencing recent remarks by EC Chairperson Jean Mensa, who acknowledged the NDC’s role in promoting accountability, Mr Dadzie urged the EC to recognize the contributions of all political parties involved in the process.
He added that all parties are essential stakeholders in ensuring a credible electoral process
