Dec. 7 polls: NDC will protect, police your votes to ensure fairness – Mahama to Ghanaians

John Dramani Mahama, Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a stern caution against any attempts to tamper with the forthcoming general elections.
The NDC flagbearer also reaffirmed his party’s determination to uphold the integrity of the democratic process.
Speaking during the party’s final rally on Thursday, 5 December 2024, at Zurak Park in Madina, Greater Accra Region, Mr. Mahama called on electoral officials, security agencies, and the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to respect democratic principles and ensure a free and fair election.
“I want to caution the NPP administration, the security services, and the entire body of people who are in charge of supervising this election. I urge you to resist the nefarious actions that some people are planning,” he stated.
Mr. Mahama encouraged Ghanaians to remain resolute in protecting their votes, emphasising that the NDC would stand with them at polling stations across the country to ensure transparency and fairness.
“To the people of Ghana, the National Democratic Congress will go to the polling station with you. Together, we will police and courageously protect our votes and resist all attempts to steal them,” he assured the crowd.
