Dec polls: Register deserves audit – Opoku-Agyemang to EC

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to conduct a forensic audit of the voters' register ahead of the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at her campaign office in Accra on Monday, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that the audit is essential for maintaining peace and transparency in the electoral process.
She noted that the EC should embrace the audit as an opportunity to assure stakeholders that the election will be free and fair, with nothing to hide.
She further explained that a forensic audit would help boost public confidence in the electoral system as the country prepares for the presidential and parliamentary elections.
