EC identifies ballot paper shortfalls in Volta Region, plans immediate reprinting
The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the detection of shortfalls in the ballot papers for five constituencies in the Volta Region: Keta, Ketu North, Hohoe, Ho Central, and Ho West.
To address this issue, the EC has designated Acts Commercials to handle the printing of the additional ballot papers.
In a letter dated November 28, 2024, and signed by Samuel Tettey, Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, the EC called on all political parties and independent candidates to participate in the process by providing two agents to observe the reprinting.
The exercise is scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The EC emphasized its commitment to transparency and accountability in the electoral process, urging stakeholders to actively engage in the oversight of the printing activity.
