"Good job! You impressed me with Terminal 3, Ridge hospital" – Yvonne Nelson to Mahama

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has said former President John Dramani Mahama impressed her with the construction of the Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport as well as the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
Ms Nelson showered praises on Mr Mahama in her birthday message to the flag bearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who turned 61 today, Friday, 29 November 2019.
“Happy birthday, you impressed me with our new terminal and the ridge hospital. Good job! #Development is what Ghana needs!”, the multiple award-winning actress tweeted.

— Yvonne Nelson (@yvonnenelsongh) November 29, 2019Ms Nelson is not afraid to express her feelings about how the economy is run by her leaders.
In 2015, while Mr Mahama was the President, Ms Nelson led a campaign dubbed “Dumsor must stop” to mount pressure on him [Mahama] and his NDC government to solve the energy crisis that led to load-shedding for four years in the country.
The campaign, some Ghanaians claimed, benefitted the then-opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Recently, Ms Nelson, who appears unhappy with the state of affairs of the economy asked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo when he was going to allow ordinary Ghanaians to quiz him on the management of the economy.
She noted that her question to Nana Akufo-Addo, if given the opportunity, will focus on healthcare.
