I will create sustainable jobs for the youths of Ho Central via sports, entertainment: Divine Kwabla Bosson
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ho Central Constitutuency, Richard Divine Kwabla Bosson, has revealed his commitment to creating sustainable jobs for the teeming Ghanaian youths of the area in the Volta region.
Touching on the unemployment situation in the country, Mr Richard Kwabla Bosson said the time had come for the creation of meaningful jobs rather than artificial jobs for the youths .
According to him, there are a myriad of potential areas like agri-business, sports, and skill-training, among others, that could employ many youths. He said this would be his focus as MP, if elected, during his term in office.
Speaking on the Front Burner, a political show hosted by Dr Richard Akplotsi on Ho 92.5 FM, every Thursday between the hours of 7pm to 9pm, the MCE bemoaned the increasing hopelessness of Ghanaian youths who were struggling to find meaningful jobs.
"I have listened to the concerns of many youths in the constituency and I am ready to address the needs of our youths," he said.
"Many youths within the Constitutuency have lots of potential which, when developed, will help create employment opportunities and transform the economic growth of the region but some of these youths have graduated and are yet still at home," he said.
He pointed out sports and entertainment were key areas youths had a lot of interest, hence the need to make it them lucrative and attractive.
Mr Richard Kwabla Bosson asserted that boosting the economic growth of the constituency through sports and entertainment would go along way to positively changing the fortunes of the youths.
He, therefore, called on all Ghanians and constituents within Ho Central to rally behind the NPP to bring more development to the region.
Currently, the MCE has lobbied for some astroturfs situated within the Ho municipality.
