Kennedy Agyapong applauds Gideon Boako’s ‘unprecedented’ support in Tano North
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has lauded Dr. Gideon Boako and his team for their exceptional mobiliSation efforts in support of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) describing it as unprecedented.
Mr. Agyapong's commendation came during a Youth Connect Programme held in Yamfo on Wednesday, 11 September as part of a nationwide tour led by the NPP’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
He expressed his enthusiasm over the unprecedented turnout of youth at the event, highlighting it as one of the most impressive displays of support witnessed during the party’s recent national tour.
He lauded Dr. Boako and the Tano North constituency executives for their remarkable organisational skills, which he believes are indicative of a promising future for the NPP.
“This level of support is unprecedented,” Mr. Agyapong said, clearly elated by the massive turnout. “
The youth turnout and enthusiasm we’ve seen here is unmatched compared to other constituencies we’ve visited.”
The Youth Connect Programme in Yamfo also saw the presence of key figures, including Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the NPP’s running mate, and other high-ranking party officials such as the current MP for Tano North, Freda Prempeh.
Mr. Agyapong used the opportunity to call on Ghanaians, especially the youth, to rally behind Dr. Gideon Boako and the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He emphasised that a united front and strong support for both candidates would be crucial in securing a decisive victory for the party.
He indicated that, Dr. Boako’s proven leadership abilities, demonstrates a clear capacity for driving development and effectively representing the needs of the constituency.
“Dr. Boako has shown over the years that he is exceptionally capable of leading the people and achieving significant progress in the area,” he noted.
The current MP, on her part called on the constituents to rally their full support behind Dr Gideon Boako and vote massively for him and the party's candidate Dr Mahamadu Bawumia in the upcoming December polls.
