Kumawu by-poll: I’m a proud polling agent for NDC – Ablakwa

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Okudzeto Ablakwa is one of the polling agents in the ongoing Kumawu by-elections in the Ashanti Region.
“A Proud Polling Agent for the Great NDC in today’s Kumawu by-election,” The North Tongu MP revealed in a tweet.
Mr Ablakwa further shared pictures of himself acting in his role for the day.
Meanwhile the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has deployed all 47 Metropolitan and Municipal District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in the Ashanti Region, together with some MPs and Deputy Ministers as polling agents for the by-election.
Constituents of Kumawu are today, Tuesday, 23 May 2023 are voting in a by-election to elect a new MP following the demise of the sitting MP, Phillip Basoah.
Mr Basoah, was buried on Saturday, 20 May 2023.
The contesting candidates are Ernest Yaw Anim for the governing New Patriotic Party, Kwasi Amankwaa for the National Democratic Congress, and two independent candidates both coincidentally known as Kwaku Duah.
