Mahama embarks on two-day campaign tour in Greater Accra
Former President John Dramani Mahama has kicked off a two-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region, as part of his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign.
The tour began today in Old Ningo, located in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, and will extend to key areas such as Kpone Katamanso, Tema Central, and Tema East.
During the tour, Mr. Mahama is set to engage with voters through a series of community-based programmes, discussions with key stakeholders, and targeted outreach in both formal and informal sectors.
He aims to strengthen connections with local communities and address pressing concerns, particularly as the country prepares for the 2024 general elections.
On the first day, the former president will meet with residents and community leaders, outlining his vision to restore hope and realign the nation’s priorities.
Mr. Mahama’s campaign promises to focus on tackling the economic challenges facing the nation and driving development at the grassroots level.
According to his spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Greater Accra tour is a vital part of a larger nationwide effort to build momentum for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2024 elections. Mahama’s message of change emphasizes a commitment to addressing economic hardships and fostering growth in communities across the region.
