Mahama tours Upper East Region August 3

The flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, will kick off his campaign in the Upper East Region on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Former President Mahama will remain in the region until August 6, 2024, to promote his vision of a 24-hour economy and the establishment of a women's bank to support women in the area.
This visit follows the party's launch of its National Campaign in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region, aiming to mobilize grassroots support and engage Ghanaians with the NDC's platform ahead of the December 7 polls.
During his time in the Upper East Region, Mr. Mahama is expected to assure voters that he will be an honest president if elected in the upcoming elections
