Manhyia South Parliamentary primary: Five pick up forms to contest to succeed Napo
Five individuals have picked up forms to contest in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primary for the Manhyia South constituency in the Ashanti Region.
The candidates include Nana Owusu Afriyie Agyemang Prempeh, the younger brother of the current Member of Parliament for the area, along with Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, James Owusu Boakye, Akwasi Coker Gyambibi, and Kwadwo Amankwah Antwi.
The necessity for new parliamentary primaries in the constituency arose following Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s elevation as the running mate for the NPP’s flagbearer.
As a result, the party has opened nominations to elect a new parliamentary candidate for the Manhyia South constituency.
