Mike Oquaye Jr enters Dome-Kwabenya race again

Ghana Free Zones Authority chief executive Mike Oquaye Jr has declared his is entering the New Patriotic Party’s Dome-Kwabenya parliamentary race again.
He was beaten the last time by incumbent Adwoa Safo, who is seeking reelection.
“I want to inform the people of Dome-Kwabenya through your medium that as soon as there is the opening for picking up forms and filing of nominations, I, Mike Oquaye Jr., will stand to represent the people of Dome-Kwabenya,” he announced on Accra-based Peace FM.
In his last attempt in 2020, he had 488 votes against Adwoa Safo's 496.
A few weeks ago, some market women at Dome hooted at their MP saying they did not want he anymore.
"We want change", they shouted when Adwoa Safo visited the market to inspect some projects she started there that stalled.
