NDC race: Duffuor to file nomination Thursday
Flag bearer aspirant of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Kwabena Duffuor, has announced the submission of his nomination to contest the upcoming election.
A statement signed by his spokesperson, Mr Antonio Edem Asinyo, noted that the former governor of the Bank of Ghana will file his nomination at 11 am on Thursday, 23 March 2023, at the party’s headquarters in Accra.
“The change in date from Wednesday to Thursday is in response to a request from the national executives of the party to reschedule, due to the party's 'True State of the Nation Address' to be delivered by the Chairman, Mr Johnson Aseidu Nketia, today, Monday, at the UPSA Auditorium at 2 pm,” the statement revealed.
It added that Dr Duffuor’s campaign team “will be present at the presentation” and entreated all “party faithful to attend.”
