NDC's Ade- Coker passes away

Comrade Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a prominent figure in Ghana’s political and sporting landscape, has passed away.
Mr. Coker died this morning at the Bank Hospital in Accra.
His passing has been met with widespread sorrow, particularly within the NDC and the wider sporting community.
A proud alumnus of Adisadel College in Cape Coast, Ade Coker was part of the 1973 graduating class and remained an active member of the Santaclausian fraternity.
His contributions to both politics and football were widely recognised.
In addition to his political career, he once served as Chairman of Accra Great Olympics Football Club, where he played a key role in the development of the team and the promotion of Ghanaian football.
He was the immediate past Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, having served the party with distinction over the years.
Further details regarding funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in the coming days.
The NDC and the nation mourn the loss of a dedicated leader and a passionate advocate for grassroots development.
