NPP PWDs affirm support for Bawumia
Some Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) believed to be New Patriotic Party supporters have affirmed their unwavering support for Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia in the upcoming December elections.
As members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), they have pledged to vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Bawumia due to his remarkable contributions and impact as Vice President.
Mr. Ofori Debrah, the leader of the NPP PWDs speaking at a press conference held in Accra, emphasized the importance of unity in Ghana, highlighting Dr. Bawumia's exceptional commitment to respecting and honouring various religious and cultural traditions. According to Mr. Debrah, Dr. Bawumia epitomizes unity, making him the ideal candidate for their support in the 2024 general election.
Gilbert Agyarie, the Communication Officer for the NPP Persons with Disabilities, echoed Mr. Debrah's sentiments, praising the NPP government's efforts in addressing the needs of Ghanaians, including those with disabilities.
He cited significant initiatives such as job opportunities facilitated through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) following the demolition of tollbooths, attributing these advancements to the visionary leadership of Vice President Dr. Bawumia
