#NPP Primaries: K.T Hammond, Ursula, Sly Tetteh, Henry Quartey retain seats

In the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primary, Member of Parliament for Adansi-Asokwa, K.T Hammond, emerged victorious by defeating Samuel Binfoh Darkwa in Saturday’s polls.
Mr Hammond secured 311 votes while Binfoh Darkwa polled 125 votes.
In the Ablekuma West constituency, the incumbent MP and Minister for Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, clinched victory in the primary with 817 votes, defeating her contender Roni Paa Kwesi Nicol who polled 241 votes. However, 20 votes were rejected.
Sylvester Tetteh emerged as the winner in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amafrom parliamentary primary, securing 590 votes, while Vida Agyekum Acheampong polled 461 votes, and Eric Kojo Kuranachie received 34 votes.
Henry Quartey also secured victory in the Ayawaso Central primary.
